What is shirataki noodle made out of?


Shirataki noodle is made out of glucomannan , which is from of an Asian plant called  Amorphophallus konjac. 
It is a water-soluble dietary fiber, low in carbohydrates and calories, and has asmell konjac smell.

In ATOR FOOD, there is organic shirataki noodle, normal shirataki noodle, 
top grade shirataki noodle, and vegetables flavored shirataki noodles. All made out of natural vegetables. 
but also some people call konjac noodles. 


So is shirataki the same as Konjac ?

Yes, both are made from the same materials. 
In japan, people call it Shirataki (白滝-- しらたき)  that means white waterfall.
In China, peopla call Moyu (devil's tongue yam or elephant yam). 
Konjac is a common name of plant Amorphophallus konjac.
About the appearance of shirataki, it is white, translucent, gelatinous.
